Long Covid

A guest article by Dr. med. Eckart Herrmann

Preliminary remark

A year has passed since the Covid-19 pandemic was declared and the disease has not been defeated despite global efforts. The rapid development of vaccines and testing options is accompanied by mutations of the virus that are apparently even more infectious than the original Covid-19. A huge problem for virus hunters and intensive care medicine.

Despite all the attention currently being focused on the acute course of Covid-19 infection, it should not be overlooked that, according to the WHO, around 20% of those infected suffer from long-term consequences. Experience shows that this is more likely to be the case with severe courses of the disease. However, sometimes even people with a mild course of infection suffer from long-term consequences. Long-lasting symptoms of the disease are referred to as post Covid or long Covid.

According to Christoph Spinner, infectiologist at the University of Munich's Klinikum rechts der Isar, Covid-19 is a systemic disease that can affect every human cell and therefore every organ. He speaks of a long-term consequence when the impairment persists even after the acute phase of the disease has completely healed. The lungs, kidneys, heart, brain or nerve cells can be damaged for a long time.

A study from Wuhan, published in the journal "The Lancet" on January 8, 2021, shows that Covid patients still suffer mainly from fatigue, muscle weakness, sleep disorders, anxiety disorders and depression six months after being discharged from hospital. According to this study, three quarters of Covid patients who are considered to have recovered still have at least one of these symptoms six months later.

Despite all efforts, much is still unclear about acute Covid-19 infections, particularly the different infection patterns and courses across all age groups. This continues to pose major problems for acute medicine.

With regard to post-Covid, the question for us is to what extent bioresonance therapy, with its diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities, is able to influence the course of the disease consequences described. I would like to remind you of the most important findings of basic regulation according to Pischinger and the further research results of Heine and Bergsmann:

The system of basic regulation

Pischinger's system of basic regulation no longer deals solely with the cell as a self-sufficient regulatory unit, but also includes the cell's environment - the endstrom pathway, the ground substance and the vegetative nerve endings - in the regulation. According to this model, the decisive metabolic transport processes of the entire organism take place in the extracellular space in particular. If these metabolic processes are permanently disturbed or interrupted, this will gradually result in the entire organism becoming ill. In addition to the biochemical control, additional physical characteristics of the cell-milieu system come to the fore, in contrast to the previously exclusively biochemically defined control in the cells themselves.

According to recent research by Heine and Bergsmann, the life of a higher, multicellular organism is linked to the triad of capillary - basic substance (matrix) - cell. The basic substance upstream of the cell as a molecular sieve is of overriding importance as an integral part of the energetically open organism. Biochemically, the matrix is a meshwork of high-polymer sugar-protein complexes in which proteoglycans (PGs) and high-polymer glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), especially hyaluronic acid, predominate. The dynamic formation of hyperboloids appears to enable a surprisingly simple principle of substance transport in the basic substance due to the possibility of ring closures of the sugar components of the PG/GAGs.

Heine described this interesting phenomenon in his book "Lehrbuch der biologischen Medizin", published by Hippokrates, as follows:

"Tunnel-like structures with diameters of approx. 5-80 nm are constantly being formed in the basic substance, which, as with the cyclodextrins used in technical applications, have a hydrophobic inner wall and a water-covered, hydrophilic outer wall. This also explains the separate simultaneous transport of hydrophilic and hydrophobic substances in the basic substance. Apparently, dynamically rapidly changing ring closures occur between the sugar chains of the PG/GAGs. The OH groups of the sugar molecules are located on the outer surface, the glycosidic oxygen bridges and H atoms on the inner surface of the tunnels. Depending on their chemical and physical properties, different substrates are passed through and metabolized in the area of these tunnels, with the smallest electromagnetic information having a major effect."

According to Nordenström, the VICC system (vascular-interstitial closed electrical circuit) with selective, electrically controlled transport between the blood and the ground substance plays an additional decisive role in the passage of substances through the capillary wall.
According to these new findings, it is therefore conceivable that regulatory therapies such as bioresonance therapy can intervene directly in the metabolism of the triad of vessel - basic substance - cell via their electromagnetic influence.

During my medical work in clinics and practices, I have successfully used the bioresonance method for a wide range of indications in the fields of internal medicine, orthopaedics and neurology. This particularly concerned patients with rheumatic diseases, allergies, pain syndromes of all kinds, conditions following apoplexy, post-operative complaints of all kinds and states of exhaustion due to vegetative dysregulation. By using the diverse diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities of bioresonance methods, at that time with the MORA Super and later with the BioKat M V device, it has been possible to reach these often long-term sufferers in an impressive way and to significantly improve the clinical picture up to complete recovery.

These observations were confirmed and statistically underpinned in a retrospective study of 935 patients - chronic pain, allergies and various infections - that I conducted together with Dr. Michael Galle and published in the European Journal of Integrative Medicine (EJIM) in 2011.

How can this experience be applied to post-Covid treatment?

Acute phase:
In the acute phase of the disease, the diagnostic focus of the bioresonance method is not only on the clinical symptoms but also on confirming the diagnosis by testing the nosode and, if it responds, treating with it. The June 2020 update of the M V test software makes it possible to test with the exact Covid-19 nosode and then treat accordingly on the energetic level.

Treatment is otherwise non-specific with the relevant acute programs in the M V device, the special programs for the affected organs and the programs after the Optima test according to Scott-Morley or Herrmann. Depending on the localization of the disease, various electrodes such as the active probe or the roller are used.

Bioresonance therapy is supplemented by suitable pre-tested medications that alleviate the symptoms and support the immune system and body regulation.

Post Covid:
The chronic phase, i.e. post-Covid, occurs when the body's own regulation has for some reason failed to properly control and eliminate the infection in terms of the immune response. In addition to treating the symptoms, it is therefore important to identify the causes of this disruption to the body's regulation and, if possible, eliminate them. The energetic state determination and the bioresonance test with the help of the BioKat M V offer good possibilities for this.

Diagnostics

In our experience, the following factors very often lead to impairments of the regulatory system in the form of blockages or interference fields, either individually or together. This is expressed in very different quadrant or sector values and typical changes in values at the electro-acupuncture points according to Voll:

a. electromagnetic bed disturbances (geopathy):

A very large number of chronically ill patients suffer from electromagnetic bedside interference. This exposure can be detected very well using the Mersmann test method (rotation tester) and correlates excellently with the measured values of electric and/or magnetic fields in the patient's environment. It would appear that a person exposed to excessive electromagnetic fields over a period of many years experiences a change in the physical direction of rotation of the blood, resulting in a change in the physical and biochemical reactivity of the blood (proven using bioelectronics according to Vincent). If, on the other hand, it is possible to interrupt this pathological electromagnetic stress for a few hours during the daily 24-hour rhythm, the blood does not change its physical properties or its physical direction of rotation returns to normal.

All patients exposed to geopathic stress can suffer from increased intolerances/allergies, impaired immune defenses and increased pain syndromes as a result of increased electrosensitivity. In contrast, an interference-free bed area leads to a rapid improvement in chronic symptoms and a much better response to all therapies.
When testing geopathy, if in doubt, retest with higher amplifications, as strong interference often cannot be detected with the recommended amplification of 7x!

b. Intolerances/allergies :

Chronically ill people very often suffer from intolerances to food, dental or other heavy metals and medicines of all kinds, often associated with geopathy. These intolerances are responsible for many chronic pain conditions and must be identified in order to eliminate these complaints. By eliminating these substrates and using a special bioresonance therapy, the organism is relieved and the pain field is calmed.

c. Interference fields, dental foci, scars, oral batteries:

All kinds of interference fields such as dental foci, old inflammations, surgical sites, implants and scars can have a lasting and permanent effect on the regulatory loop system and prevent any self-healing. These foci must be identified and removed using suitable methods.

Oral batteries due to various dental metals, bridge materials or soldering points must be measured and treated with suitable methods. They are very often the cause of cephalgia, shoulder-arm syndromes, tinnitus, sinus infections and other disorders.

Finding suspected interference zones is made much easier by evaluating the quadrant readings or the sector readings and by swiping the body surface with the active probe (adhesive effect!). These interference fields (therapy blockages) must then be eliminated either by the bioresonance therapy itself or by suitable accompanying measures.

d. Toxins and nosodes:

In the same way as the effect of dental metal intolerances, the physical effect of toxins and nosodes is important. Today there are excellent test kits available from various companies which make it possible to test toxins and nosodes on certain acupuncture tests. These test procedures can be carried out particularly elegantly and quickly with the BioKat M V test program.

Toxins from viruses, bacteria and protozoa, diseases that the patient has often previously experienced unnoticed and whose information has remained in the body, very often serve as triggers for chronic inflammatory diseases or as blockages for resonance phenomena in the patient's body. Old vaccinations can also have a blocking effect. In this field in particular, bioresonance diagnostics is far superior to the usual laboratory chemical diagnostics. Regardless of concentration levels (e.g. antibodies), it is possible to physically test these disturbance variables very elegantly at the subtle level and then apply them to subsequent treatment.

By testing the most responsive potency of each nosode, a statement can be made about the actuality of this influence. It is essential to consider and use this information in subsequent treatment. In addition to the Covid-19 nosode, it is also important to test other nosodes that are associated with old vaccinations and past illnesses and that block self-regulation.

Testing dilution levels of the Covid-19 nosode allows a statement to be made about the duration and residence of the disease.

Therapy:

As with all chronic diseases, post-Covid is treated in several therapy sessions, with each therapy session comprising a test section and a treatment section.

Depending on the urgency, the individual blockage possibilities are gradually tested in the sessions and then the symptoms of the illness are treated.

The non-specific treatment uses the various fixed programs for chronic diseases in the BioKat M V. Special probes such as the active probe or the double roller etc. are used on the diseased areas of the body. The energy circulation therapy programs are also important.

Optima testing of individual programs according to Scott-Morley and Herrmann refines and individualizes the therapy.

The inclusion of bodily fluids as individual information carriers also helps to improve the results of treatment.

The specific treatment uses the individually tested information from stressful or medically effective substances such as nosodes or medication and incorporates them into the regulatory system with special programs.

In my experience, bioresonance therapy can be excellently combined with balneo-physical measures such as hydrotherapy, heat applications, massage techniques and exercise therapy, procedures which in their own way have a beneficial effect on body regulation and complement our therapy. In the same way, tested medication should be used to strengthen body regulation.

I have had excellent treatment success with bioresonance therapy in the treatment of various chronic illnesses during my time in practice. Everything seems to indicate that this treatment method will achieve similarly good results in the treatment of post Covid. I would like to encourage bioresonance therapists to face up to this disease phenomenon and prove how good our treatment method is.
